Very fine gilt bronze and slag glass hanging lamp attributed to Duffner and Kimberly. This firm made these types of lamps for a very short period in the early 1900s. Eight internal lights. Duffner and Kimberly was a New York City company which produced leaded glass and bronze lamps around the same time as Louis Comfort Tiffany, Tiffany Studios. The Duffner and Kimberly Company was formed in December 1905, with a capital outlay of $350,000. The firm introduced its first lamps in 1906.Frank Duffner and Oliver Spears Kimberly.
